OCAV Celebrates 150 years
In 2019 the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria celebrates its 150th anniversary of providing safe, affordable and permanent housing and appropriate support to elderly Victorians in need.
This year we will celebrate our past while innovating our future. Different events will mark this historic occasion including open days at our villages, the unveiling of a tapestry especially sewn for the event, and much more.
As part of the 150th Anniversary Celebration we are on the look-out for photographs and stories that most represent OCAV’s history over the last 150 years.
This may be a photograph of a significant moment, a special event that took place in the community, or a photograph of a resident, donor, staff member or volunteer who has an interesting story to tell.
Please attach a short story to accompany your photograph (in no more than 200 words) about the photograph and its significance to OCAV over the last 150 years, and send to Project Officer Penny Underwood: email@example.com
Keith White, who had heart surgery two years ago, reckons he’s better now than he has ever been. He puts his state of health and well-being down to the life he has found at Currie Park, OCAV’s village in Euroa.
