Wooden blocks each with a different word describing what home means to the 450 residents living in the Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria’s four retirement villages will be placed on the steps of Parliament House on Monday 5 August.

Building has started on a multi- million dollar development at the heritage-listed Rushall Park village in Fitzroy North, Melbourne. The Old Colonists’ Association of Victoria (OCAV) has appointed Manresa Constructions as builders. The anticipated completion date is mid 2019, in time for the Association’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
OCAV has collaborated in recent weeks with the Little Sisters of the Poor to offer housing to more older Victorians in need. This collaboration has enabled older Victorians to access quality housing at either of the two organisations’ villages in Fitzroy North and Northcote.
